Philpott Lake in southwestern Virginia has a structure rich environment with a tree, stump or rock for every fish to hide under. Rarely are the 'eyes in tight schools but usually two or three here and there.  I cruise through an area, mark the individual fish with waypoints then troll back across them. In split screen SONAR/GPS mode the LCX 15-MT tells me how deep the fish are, where they are and how fast I'm traveling. Using this method I can quickly eliminate unproductive water and  keep my lures over fish and in the strike zone. I had almost rather leave my tackle box at home than go fishing without my LCX-15.

Patrik Eriksson, captain of the successful Swedish trolling team "Rö-vitt" with a landlocked salmon weighing 9,8 kg (21,6 lb.)

The salmon was caught on a natural bait rigged in an Anchovy Special baitholder in the lake Vättern near Granvik, Sweden.  We noticed big shoals of baitfish on 25 m (80 ft) near the bottom with our super-quality Lowrance LCX-19C sonar.  We trolled there for a while and suddenly at 20 m (65 ft) this beautiful salmon caught the bait.  Twenty minutes later it was in the boat.  The salmon was 89 cm (35 in) long and 58 cm (23 in) in circumference.

Dave landed this 35 inch long, 15.4 pound striper in Chesapeake Bay.  Dave was fishing on a Lowrance-equipped boat with Guide Hillary Carter.

Bruce writes in to say
"Lowrance has always worked for me!"

While paying attention to our depth via my fishfinder, I noticed the bottom was coming up quickly.  I brought our left downrigger up to 40 feet and paid close attention to the one on the right.  I wanted at least one of the downriggers to follow the contours of the bottom.  As expected, that one never hit , but the one on the surface (the left downrigger) had a nice spring king salmon on the line.  It took a while to get it in the boat as I only had 12 lb. test line.  I couldn't have done it without my Lowrance fishfinder showing me the way.

I did as the locals do in Mexico and just surfed fished with a hand line.

My son's first fish.  He used a Zebco kid's rod and reel combo.  Talk about making his any my day!
Luke at Soldier Creek, Lake Texoma.  Above, Luke displays the 6 1/2 lb. smallmouth bass he caught with the assistance of an LCX-15MT.

Ben Filson with a 43 lb. 3 oz. fresh water striped bass caught at Lake Raystown in Pennsylvania. Ben is the son of B.J. Filson owner of Jim's Anchorage in Hesston Pennsylvania.

Matt Smiley of Colorado with the new state record lake trout he caught on April 11th. The fish officially weighed in at 44 lbs. 5 oz.  "My new X97 is simply the best finder I have ever owned.  I know that I am not missing a fish with this finder.  The importance of a high quality finder in the location of lake trout can not be understated in the type of fishing I do.  The X97 is directly responsible for finding and allowing me to catch the largest game-fish ever caught in the state of Colorado and I wish to extend my gratitude to Lowrance for making such a top-notch finder at an affordable price."

"Thanks again for making such a quality product and allowing me the chance to truly find and catch the fish of a lifetime."

I used an X85 to tell me the depth where I was fishing.  The river fluctuated four to five feet every six hours so the depth was constantly changing.  It helped so much.  You have got my business for the rest of my life, and I know that there's always going to be a Lowrance on my boat.  Thank you.

We fish for these 'Black Jew Fish' in the top end waters in most months, but more so in the wet season or in the build up to the monsoon season.  An X71 is fitted to our 4.35 meter (approx. 14 feet) aluminum dingy with a 40 hp Yamaha outboard.  These fish were caught in only 4.5 meters of water using the X71 to find the best bottom in an area approximately 5 miles offshore here in the Northern Territory.
